1. Obtain Z – List status - Still the easiest way to redeem is to have more PTZ than anyone else! Lockerz now has the reserved prizes which are 4 x more PTZ but will guarantee you a prize! Once you get Z-List go to the PLAY section and start watching some videos! Normally these would be 2 points, but now they are 4! This will get you A LOT of points that you can use for the next redemption. Especially since, Lockerz will be making everything 4 times the amount the are originally.
2. Browser – Use the best and fastest browser! For me I personally think Fire fox has a better network response than the other browsers I’ve used so I use Fire fox during the redemption’s. I tend to close every program that uses the internet connection so I would have more bandwidth to use during the redemption and pages would load faster. Another reason to use Fire fox is for the add ons which will be needed to install Roboform.
3. Stay tuned for Redemption Times and Dates – Lockerz does not give a date for redemption anymore and there’s no times, during the past few months the redemption dates have been within the last 5 days of the month and they would usually remind or hint users of it. Be on the look out and pay attention, they post updates on their facebook page, twitter page and the hallway! Another thing to keep in mind, they usually only have ONE WAVE now so don’t be too sad if you don’t get anything, they probably almost have 2 million users on the site!
4. Fast internet Connection - One problem that people have the most while redeeming for a prize is the site crashes for them.. this is due to the amount of users trying to get on the site at once I’d say about a few million on general restock days and about 80 000 users on z-list only restock dates. Once way to fix this is to get a faster internet connection. I’m not telling you to register a new internet connection in your house just for this event but maybe just borrowing a line.
5. Typing – You don’t need to be fast at typing anymore! Download Roboform for firefox as an add on and you can use it to auto – fill in your shipping for in a second! This is allowed and will not get you banned, BUT you can not use bots that help you click and redeem items.
6. Refreshing the Lockerz prize page at the right time - You’re almost there! Now the Lockerz page does not update automatically when the prizes are stocked so people tend to SPAM the REFRESH BUTTON which you SHOULD NOT DO, this will cause there site to overload and might crash. I don’t know if you’ll still get temporarily banned.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN TO REFRESH? Well you’ll need to follow Lockerz on Twitter or join the Lockerz group on Facebook. When Lockerz has a restock day they will ALWAYS update their page, this is where you check. Lockerz has changed the way they restock and now the time for redemption is unknown but will still be somewhat obvious. Keep checking their pages and also be sure to check around 4 – 12 pm. Some may think refreshing at the page your prize is at will be faster THIS IS WRONG!
Now you have to sit get comfortable and wait for the Lockerz crew to restock! When the time comes just click on the prize you want and fill out the redemption form with Roboform, hit submit and you’re done! The page tends to crash when your filling out the redemption form so when you click submit and the site “goes offline” DON’T PANIC just hit refresh and wait for it most likely your form WILL be submitted. To check if you’ve gotten your prize check your email for a receipt. It usually takes them a few days to generate these receipts for winners.
